The Mexican Connection is the third episode of Charlie's Angels The Original Series and third episode overral
Charlie assigns the girls to go to Mexico to find the saboteurs of a charter plane carrying a cache of heroin. Jill becomes a swimming instructor for the daughter of a wealthy Mexican businessman, Sabrina goes undercover as a flight attendant, and Kelly poses as a schoolteacher on holiday. Their contact is one of the two pilots of the ill-fated plane (the other is in hospital). Before they can fully make their false identities credible, the Angels find themselves caught between two warring heroin dealers.

Timeframe[]
Day One: Sabrina reports to work as a flight attendant in San Francisco. Jill makes an impression on the Mazatlán swimming buffs (off screen).
Day Two: Kelly meets Bartone. Jim introduces Sabrina to Bartone. Jill wins a swimming race. That evening, the plane Sabrina is on flies to Culiacán. Sabrina has a gun pulled on her. During the night, Jill encounters Maria in Bartone's office and promises to be her friend.
Day Three: Jill gives Maria a swimming lesson. That evening Bartone throws a party and all the principals of the episode attend.

- This is the only episode where Farrah Fawcett-Majors wears a swimsuit.
- This is the first episode to feature a major gunfight. Although three people are shot (none by the Angels), two are shown still alive afterwards.
- Sabrina displays a knack for bad puns, to the point where both Kelly and Jill remark that she's on a roll.
