A recruit in the Women's Army Corps is shot to death on the firing range and Charlie’s Angels are assigned to investigate. Bosley works undercover as a civilian researcher with Sabrina as an Army nurse and Jill and Kelly as new enlistees. A military physician and a cruel drill instructor are discovered to be purchasing large quantities of cheap, inactive drugs and reselling them to the Army at top quality retail prices. Unfortunately, before the Angels can complete their investigation, they become the targets of a “search-and-destroy” mission.
- Bosley draws the short straw in having to travel from pig farm to pig farm hunting for rifle pieces, with his bare hands.
- Kelly is revealed to be an accomplished markswoman, however when the time comes to use her sniper skills on a human target, she hesitates and is only successful in disarming him (and even so, she says she was only aiming for his shoulder).
- This episode is arguably the first in which the Angels intentionally use deadly force against a villain, first by Kelly being prepared to shoot him with a sniper rifle (although as noted above she states her intent is to wound) and when this doesn't work, Sabrina causes the man's plane to crash before take-off, killing him.
